? Well differentiated infiltrating ductal carcinoma with focal associated high grade ductal carcinoma in situ in my right breast.
I have Cancer........those words are devastating in their own right. I have been in shock to say the least and each day it seems that the shock is wearing off a little at a time.
I haven't had surgery yet or given even the stage although my oncologist seems to believe its early like 0 or 1 but we will not know for sure until I have the surgery.
After I was diagnosed I began to feel intermittent pain in my left xbreast and although I tried making it out to be me over exaggerating I just couldn't do it, on February 2, I had an MRI with contrast and sure enough there is a 1.7 cm mass located in the lower inner left quadrant of my left breast. I am scheduled for an MRI guided biopsy on February 15th.
After the results of the biopsy come back we will be able to make a surgical decision and go forward.
I will do my best to keep you informed as best I can.
