Kaysee Sklany

Kaysee's Story! :) Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. As many of you know Kaysee will be having surgery on December 7,2016 at Swedish Medical Center (Cherry Hill Campus) in Seattle, WA. As of this moment we do not have a time for the surgery an may not until the day before. A little bit about Kaysee :) she is 24 years old and is married to Josh Sklany, together they have a son Ryan who is 19 months old. Kaysee loves to read, sing (beautiful voice I might add), she is creative and loves spending time with family and close friends. Most of all I believe she enjoys being a mom and a wife the most.  Kaysee has been diagnosed with a Pituitary Tumor that is touching her carotid artery. Hence why she cannot have this surgery in Montana; as Seattle has the closest qualified medical care for this specific procedure. This tumor may even be touching her optical nerve as well. She has unrelenting and progressive daily headaches that began over three years ago. Her left eye waters constantly. There are many more symptoms that she has been experiencing.  This has been a very long and frustrating journey for her yet through it all she has kept her faith, prayed and has trusted God that she will get through this and that doctors will be able to help her. She just "wants her life back". We will be headed over to Washington on Sunday December 4, 2016 to begin what we hope will be much needed healing and freedom for Kaysee.
