Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
First I ask that you put Don and me on your prayer list I have been diognosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. Just at the begining of this December it was discovered. I have had a biospy, a brain scan a CT scan and a PET scan. This all started with a horrid cough that I still have.
We are in good spirits as Don and I have placed this entire matter into the hands of Jesus. We know He loves us very much and He knows what is best for our lives. Please keep us in your prayers.
Tomorrow December 27th I see the Oncologist Dr Butler. He has scheduled me to start chemo interveniously. And we hope we will later be able to go to pill treatments. We are blessed that this can b treated however it can not be cured. If all goes well I have 2+ years.
At my visit tomorrow I may be able to get oxygen to carry around. . The coughing spells get very long and make it impossible to talk or get a real breath. Hopefully the chemo may help with that.
The children, family and friends have been so supportive. They all are such a blessing. I can feel the prayers. There is a beautiful prayer blanket a friend made. A picture of it is on my Facebook.
