Backstory:
I was diagnosed with a thoracic ascending aortic aneurysm in 2019. Unfortunately, it has grown to 5.34 cm, which puts it in a high risk level for dissecting or rupturing so open heart surgery is required to repair it. Thank God for advanced modern medical technology and the doctors who can use it to fix this problem.

Dr Miles Stuart Guber will be doing the surgery at Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver, CO, on Friday, September 3rd.

This is a propitious date as we do important things on the 3rd of a month in our family. My husband, my brother, my little Yorkie and I were all born on the 3rd of different months 😅. So now I'll have a new lease on life as of 9/3!
