For those that may not know, Kathi was diagnosed with stage four small cell lung cancer around three years ago. She made it through chemo, then radiation, and has had no signs of cancer since. But with all that treatment and the toll it can take, she ended up losing most of her motor skills and is wheelchair and scooter bound. Fast forward to now and whatever is attacking her body is virtually an unknown. She's no longer seeking treatment, has been in hospice care for the past four months and her condition continues to worsen.
We would love for you to:
- take a moment and scan your memories of her – what's the first thing that comes to mind - think about what she's always been about: "Don't worry, be happy" - share your thought or a picture if you have one We're not sure how much more time she has with us, so any little bit of good you can share with her (and us) would be fantastic. And thanks so much for stopping by – it means to world to all of us.
