For anyone just joining our drama already in progress, Katherine was recently (and through a convoluted process we will, mercifully, not repeat here) diagnosed with Bilateral Stage 3 Breast Cancer. After consultation and reflection, she opted for a treatment plan that entails a double mastectomy and reconstruction.
