Hello everyone. Welcome to my updates. So may people have reached out to me for news on my recent diagnosis of Non-Hodgkin B Cell Lymphoma. I know I have basically gone off the radar, but as a patient at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, my team of doctors make no decisions on treatment, etc. without running every test there is. I have spent the last several weeks getting biopsies, PET scans, blood work, doctor appointments, etc.


My hematology oncologist is Dr. Chavez and Dr. Chavez is very positive about my future! The cancer seems to be contained in my hip area, which is great news. Yesterday I had my port put in for chemo. My first chemo is scheduled for August 31,2017. I will have 6 rounds of chemo, followed by 4-6 weeks of radiation to make sure all the cancer is gone.
