Hello, I was diagnosed of having Ductal Carcinoma In Situ, which is the early stage of breast cancer that is found in the duct (duct milk) of the breast on March 3, 2020. On this website, I will be sharing my journey and other helpful information about Breast Cancer.

On Feburary 17, 2020, I went for my annual mammogram exam and as always, I was thinking I'm good. Well, two days later, I was getting ready for a scheduled appointment I had and the phone ring. It was the Norton Breast Center calling asking me to come back in for additional testing because the mammogram didn't look right. That was very unusual for me to get a call from the Breast Center and nit my gynecologist. So I go back to the center after my other appointment. I had spent 3 hours there, having 3 mammograms and an ultrasound perform. Before I left there, I had spoken to the Radiologist and he stated that I needed to have a biopsy on my breast so he could see a better view of the multiple cysts in my breast. I felt like I was about to cry, but I didn't because I knew I had to prepare myself for the good or the worst of my life.
