Karena Labes

First post: Jun 12, 2018 Latest post: Jul 6, 2018
After more than five years of debilitating vertigo from MDDS Karena has now lived for 6 years with Stage 4 (terminal) breast cancer metastasized in her lower body.  Nearly 2 years without chemotherapy, then more than 3 years with daily or weekly chemo.  She is such a strong and beautiful soul that these years were of good quality and high spirituality.  In January she stopped chemotherapy due to liver saturation.  Last month she began suffering serious symptoms from her disease for the first time and a new MRI revealed significant spread of the metastasis to most spine disks, liver, pelvis and hip.  Less than a month later she was transferred from Oncology to Hospice with no warning or transition.  She is now in hospice at home and receiving world class care.  Her liver is slowly failing from which many complications have begun.  She never complains or expresses regrets - she believes that worries are negative blessings that only feed her cancer,
