Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated on Kaleb's diagnoses, care, and progress in one place. Please use CaringBridge rather than phone calls and texts to Penney and Jimmy, as it can get too overwhelming. Penney and Jimmy want their focus on Kaleb and his medical team at this time, we're sure you understand. They will update the site once daily.

Kaleb was diagnosed with leukemia. Testing begins on Monday to confirm and refine his diagnosis and treatment plan.

Kaleb is in need of blood donations. He is type A+. But any blood type can be accepted at The Blood Center as donations for Kaleb Julian Barden at Children's Hospital in New Orleans.
