Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. On Saturday, June 24, Justin decided to go to the emergency room after days of being uncomfortable with gastrointestinal stuff. After teasing with the GI doctor about how he was going to have a poop baby that would outweigh his very pregnant wife's real baby, things got real. The doctor didn't know much, but he did know that the scan showed masses on Justin's pancreas and liver and that he would need to be transferred to a different hospital. On Monday, they did a liver biopsy and by Tuesday, the most heart breaking news was delivered: they were 96% certain it was pancreatic cancer and that it had spread to his liver and lungs. At this point, we know officially that it is pancreatic cancer and that it is inoperable. Justin's wife Dana is due July 1 with their second baby boy. Their first son, Hendrix is 5. We will keep you updated as we learn more. Thank you for visiting!
