Julie, the daughter I never had, the loving wife of my son, Garret, and mother of my adored 5-year-old twin grandsons, was diagnosed in May 2017 with stage 4 colorectal cancer. The disease has spread to her cervix and areas around her liver and right lung. This is especially shocking due to her age - just 33, very active, and incredibly healthy! She recognized that something was wrong, did all the right things by checking with doctors, having the right tests done - and all of that came back "NORMAL"! After 18+ months of trying to figure out why she didn't feel 'right' , THIS is what had been there all along!
