Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

Julie's journey started in July 2015 when she was admitted to the hospital for a bowel obstruction.  Since then she has been suffering from abdominal pain attacks on a weekly basis.  Many tests have been done over the past 6 months with everything always coming back clear.   On February 20th we took her to the Fairmont Emergency Room.  More tests were done and we were headed to Rochester to the St. Mary's Mayo hospital for the bowel obstruction surgery and to check for a possible cancer diagnosis. That has yet to happen. Julie spent the week at Mayo getting every test under the sun done.  She has had so much strength and courage and has kept her sense of humor through every poke, pin prick and needle.  And if you know Julie this is saying a lot:)

So we now we are facing the dreaded C word. It truly does change your life.  We are in the best hands here at Mayo and the doctors and staff are amazing! We have a strong sense of family, hope and faith to go forward as this is how we were raised by our mom.
