Three weeks ago, Chuck found Judy at home in the middle of the afternoon still in her nightgown, walking up the stairs, very confused.  He called an ambulance and they took her to the hospital.  The doctors performed a CT and thought she had suffered a stroke.  She was transported to UNMC in Omaha.  The doctors requested an MRI.  Overnight they discovered she was having brain seizures.  They hooked her up to an EEG to monitor her brain. The EEG showed she was having seizures about every minute or so.  They were not grand mal seizures, these were small seizures in her brain that did not make her convulse.  They needed to let her brain rest, so they put her under sedation and hooked her up to three seizure medications.  And now they are trying to find the cause of the seizures.
