Thank you so much for visiting my CaringBridge site. It is such a blessing to know I am surrounded and prayed for by friends and family as I begin this unexpected journey. What began as an ER visit for stomach pain quickly transitioned to a serious and shocking diagnosis. I thought my pain was caused by stomach or digestive issues, so I just couldn't believe when I received the call from my doctor. I was diagnosed with Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer. I was scheduled for a surgical biopsy the next day to determine the type of cancer spread like "splattered paint" throughout my abdomen. We were relieved to find out from the biopsy that the cancer type was in fact Ovarian and not one of the other cancers (pancreatic, liver, stomach) that was mentioned as a possibility. . . We were shocked by the diagnosis, completely shocked, but I am confidant God is not. He is before all things, in all things, and He will be holding me together and carrying me through the hours of each day of this journey. He will sustain me and give me strength. His mercies are new every morning and I will rest in knowing my Abba is with me. I am not alone and He will not forsake me. It is hard to grasp the pain I might experience, but I know that my Abba will not waste one second of my pain. He will whisper words of love as I share in His sufferings. I am loved by the One who gave it all so I can live forever and ever with Him. How can I not trust Him?

I was just listening to Pandora and Kari Jobe's song, "Healer" was playing. As you can imagine, the words of this song resonated with my heart. I especially love the words, "And I believe You're my portion. I believe You're more than enough for me. Jesus You're all I need." Yes, oh yes, join me in praying He will heal my body, but more than that, pray my heart will be filled and overflowing with more of Him. Filled and overflowing with His love, strength, courage, and mercies. Pray my soul will experience peace like never before and pray His immeasurable graces will flow down over me, filling me and flowing through me. Pray my story will bring glory and praise to the One who deserves eternal praise, glory and honor. He, my Father, my Abba, my God is the Hero of my story so when you tell someone my story, you must tell them about Him. My life is from Him, about Him and for Him. To Him be all Glory, forever and ever!
