Judy Rice Judy Girls

First post: Apr 25, 2017
Judy Ann Todd Rice was a woman with such strength and determination.  She bravely faced the challenge after learning of her heart disease.  She was committed to providing for Jada and Joia by working as a Real Estate agent and a sales associate at Havertys.     Her family and friends were completely shocked and surprised when we learned how severe Judy's condition was in June 2016 after she suffered a major heart attack.   By March 2017, she had lost over 60% of her heart functionality and was in need of a heart transplant.

She spent weeks at Emory Hospital under outstanding cardiologist care.  Unfortunately, Judy lost her battle to heart disease on April 9th.  She had been discharged and spent the last week of life at her lovely home.   To the very end, she was still laughing and talking with family and friends.  Judy had a personality that was priceless, she never met a stranger.   She's from the small town of Arkadelphia, Arkansas and she never lost that small town care and consideration for the community.

Judy leaves to survive two daughters Jada (17) and Joia (16).  She invested her all in making sure her kids had every opportunity.   She was such a committed mother and she fought a courageous battle.  Her greatest concern has always been her children.  She wept at the thought of not living to see her kids graduate and fulfill their dreams.......  After her divorce she never missed a beat, she did whatever it took to make sure her girls had all they needed and most of what they desired.
