This site it to track our Mom's journey with non-small cell lung cancer that has metastasized to her spine.  In October 2017 a mass was discovered in her lung.  In early February she lost use of her legs due to the metastasis to the spine, and on February 8th she had surgery to stabilize her spine with a plate and rods T4-T8.  Thankfully, this has offered her a good bit of pain relief.  Today, 2/21/18 she is being discharged to her son and daughter-in-law's house on Hospice.  During this time, Kent's dementia has worsened, and he has developed pneumonia.  He is also coming home on Hospice there as well.  This is a place where we all can share their journey with friends and family.  Your prayers and  thoughts are much appreciated.
