Joy loves her family and friends. She also routes for the Badgers and the Packers every chance she gets. Her heart is big and she supports others with quiet dignity. She is loved and cherished by everyone who knows her. The cancer diagnosis in March 2016 was a surprise. Treatment included biopsy and then Chemotherapy for 12 weeks over the summer. She did great through the end of August. After the last Chemo treatment she developed complications that put her in the hospital on Labor Day weekend. She had surgery to address the issue and has been slow to recovery her strength.
