Thank you for visiting.  On Tuesday, March 13, 2018, mom suffered a Spinal Stroke and a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage.  (brain bleed). She is currently in the Neuro Critical Care Unit at Bronson Hospital.   We are praising God that she had no brain tissue death and is aware and knows what is going on and who we all are!!  Unfortunately there is some signs of leg paralysis.    There was a need for her to be intubated as she could not sustain breathing on her own.  They did try to remove the breathing tube, but after 10 hours without it she was no longer able to keep up with her Oxygen needs so it was replaced.  We are now waiting for her to have a tracheostomy and a nutrition line placed.  This will be much safer for her in the long term.  We are so thankful to the Lord for how He has watched over and taken care of her so far.  We have a long journey ahead, much of which is unknown.  We thank all of the staff and nurses and doctors here at Bronson who have given mom excellent and compassionate care.   We thank all of our wonderful family and amazing friends for all of their love and support and willingness to help in any way!   We are truly blessed!!!
