On June 19th, as mom was cleaning her van she ended up calling for help because she had sharp pains in her head and neck. Lisa and I attempted to get her in the seat of the van but were unsuccessful and we decided to call the ambulance. When the ambulance arrived they asked her a few questions and that is when she lost consciousness. The ambulance rushed her to Onamia where it was discovered she had bleeding on the brain and she was air lifted to North Memorial hospital in Robinsdale. She was then taken into surgery around 6pm to stop the bleeding which they were able to do successfully. They also put in a drain tube to relieve the pressure. As of today they have her off of the ventilator and she is able to follow simple commands and she was telling the nurses about her family and of course her fur babies. She is fighting all the way traveling this long journey ahead of her.
