Back in November of 2019, Joyce learned that the chemo and radiation she had from three years ago to treat her first cancer, damaged her bone marrow. It was determined that she has MDS,  a type of pre-lukemia the you only get from prior cancer treatments. It is VERY RARE.

Her bone marrow has a hard time making healthy blood cells and this leaves her very tired. Treatment requires blood infusions, blood stimulating shots (very expensive stuff there) and possibly a bone marrow transplant.

Because of everything COVID -19, she is on hold for a bone marrow transplant.

We invite you to follow along with the ups and downs and to  leave a few inspirational shout outs. Joyce really appreciates those!
