Josh has intractable seizures and will be undergoing placement of a deep brain stimulator at UW Hospital on 5/29/20.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions they do not allow anyone to stay over with patients and there is only 1 visitor allowed. Due to josh’s special needs; exception has been made and I will be able to spend the night with him. Unfortunately, Dad (Tim) and sister (Amanda) will not be able to be there. This is a difficult and emotional time for us as a family.
Josh has to be tested for Covid-19 prior to surgery and this is scheduled on Thursday.
The surgery is expected to last 6-8 hours and barring any complications; josh is expected to go home on Saturday.
We are asking for prayers this week and especially during the surgery!
