Jordyn noticed a "lump/knot" on her shoulder before Christmas 2015.  She went to her Nurse Practitioner and she started antibiotics.  When the knot didn't "go down".  We were sent to a General Surgeron in Tupelo.  He monitored the spot for a month.  When we returned a month later, the spot was still there and he scheduled us to have it removed and biopsied.
On Jordyn's birthday (2/5) she had the surgery and they told us they would notify us of the pathology results.
The following Friday, the news came. The news that no parent, husband, grandmother(father), Aunt (uncle), Sister (brother) or child wants to hear.............CANCER.

Jordyn was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma.  On 2/18 she had a Pet Scan done.  On 2/19 her port was put in and the results from the Pet Scan came back showing Stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma.

The lymph nodes with involvement are the ones in the shoulder/neck area, the ones under the arms, the small lymph nodes down the esophagus, in the abdomen and two nodules on the spleen.

Her oncologist (Dr. Hill) feels confident that we will get Jordyn into remission, but we will at least have 6 months of chemotherapy.

We wanted to set this site up so that we could update everyone (at once) and not forget anyone.

Jordyn is a tough young lady and she knows that with God on her side that He will fight this fight right along side her.

Hebrews 13:5  King James Version (KJV)5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
