Saturday, November 11th started off as a typical Colorado morning with blue sky and the temperature in the mid 60's with home improvement plans as part of the weekend agenda. The project to be done was installation of a pulley system for installing / removing a ski box from the top of Corry's car. Unfortunately, shortly after starting the project Jo fell off of an "A-frame" ladder and suffering a massive head injury.  She was rushed via ambulance to a Level 2 Trauma center  for an immediate craniotomy to help stabilize the situation. Besides suffering multiple skull fracture, several broken ribs, and a broken C7 vertebrae, some of the skull bone was left off to allow for swelling to take place and to allow the best chance of good recovery.

Since the accident has happened the entire family has reconvened in Colorado to take up vigil and be at Jo's bedside during this critical time.
