Jo caught some sick air mountain biking this week (10/6) and a crash landing, landing her in the hospital with a significant clavicle break. After a long ride through the night from Arkansas, she underwent surgery at Mission Hospital today (10/8).

Jo is looking at about six weeks of recovery. She needs to rest and limit movement as her body heals (which we all know she is going to be very tempted to do more, and sooner than doctor’s orders 🙂)

Starting Sunday 10/10, she could use help during the day and overnight while she heals.

She could also use help with meals during this time.

Thanks for being a part of Jo’s “house support” and “meal train” team.

P.S. That’s not Jo parachuting with her mountain bike but thinking it might be good to get her one. The cover photo is from her happy place in the Utah desert.

“Help feed our daring biking woman! Please deliver meals to Jo's front porch in containers that can be recycled so she doesn't need to worry about returning. Feel free to text before dropping off, but know she might be resting.
Dietary info: Meals need to be vegan and not spicy pretty please!
Dinner ideas: Eggplant parmesan, brussel sprouts dish, veggie burgers, veggie tofu dish, Thai food, soups, salads, smoothie makings, healthy crunchy things like vegan jerky, kale chips, etc.
Lunch/snack/treat ideas: Canned soups. already prepared salads, raspberry fig bars, non dairy ice cream and other cooler treats.
Drink ideas: Lemon Le Croix, bubbly waters”
