Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We have created it as a space for people to share in memoriam of the life of Joan Myra Polikoff. The primary intent of this website is for people to contribute any poem, song, picture, or art work that represents love, hope and the conscious choice to stand in the light rather than dwell in the darkness. Your contributions will serve as an archive of her community's  memories or the way in which Joan Myra Polikoff touched your life. Ultimately, I (Lyle) envision selecting elements from this archive to create a piece of art to serve as her headstone, which will hang on the wall of our home, next to her ashes as she would wish it to be. We are all connected, in some way, shape or form; your contributions reflect your relationship to Joan Myra Polikoff in a way that is deeply appreciated by her family. The easiest way to contribute is through the Guestbook. 

Of course, we will grieve — all of us and all of you — in our own personal ways. But we want this page to celebrate light rather than darkness,  life rather than loss. We look forward to reading what you share.
