Jim was diagnosed with stage IIIb non-small cell lung cancer in April 2021 after having some unusual coughing and respiratory symptoms.
On May 10th, he started two cycles of chemotherapy which consists of 6 days of infusions for each cycle. At the same time, he is undergoing 6 weeks of daily radiation. Following the chemo and radiation treatments, Jim will undergo a year of immunotherapy treatments.
Jim is strong and fighting his disease head on with courage and a positive outlook. Jim is not alone in his battle, with his wife Carrie, two young children Charlotte and JJ, and all his family and friends by his side.
