Jim "Jimmer" Goblish

First post: Jan 21, 2017 Latest post: Sep 2, 2017
On December 28th Jim went to the clinic thinking he had the flu.  His hopes were to get an antiobiotic and return home, they did some blood work looking for an infection, after the blood work was completed the doctor came in and Jim and Paula were told that Jim needed to be transferred to Sioux Falls immediately by ambulance.  In Sioux Falls he was admitted due to Kidney Failure, after several tests it was found that Jim may have a form of Cancer.  At that time the Doctors referred Jim to Mayo Clinic.  After several more tests at the Mayo Clinic it was determined that Jim has Lymphoplasmacytic Lymphoma which is a very rare type of Non-Hodgkins Lymophoma, there is no cure but it can be put into remission with treatment.  Jim will have a port put in on Tuesday, Jan. 24 with Chemo starting sometime after that.

Please note that Jim is only receiving 1/3 of his normal wages from his work disability.  That is the reason we have set up a Go Fund Me page to help them with all of the unexpected expenses that they will incur during Jim's treatment.
