Looking back over the years, I can hardly remember a time when Jill was not a part of our lives. Thing is, she and Trey dated for ten years before they got married! They reside in Lumberton with their precious Olivia and Dallas. (their dog, who is one of a kind) Jill is a loving wife, Mom, daughter,sister, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law,aunt, and a wonderful friend to so many..... I would consider her to be an extremely diligent person in every aspect of her life, including her health. She noticed a difference in one of her breasts which led to her diagnosis. From day one, she has been very assertive in attitude and action towards this thing called cancer. She will begin chemo in June, (date to be determined) after she has her port surgically put in. It will then be chemo treatments for five to seven months. As well, she will have other preventative treatment. I think it is fair to say that Jill is somewhat a private person, but she gave me permission to to set up this site for her. Caring Bridge is an excellent means of communication, and Jill needs us to fight this battle with her. I will keep everyone updated, and when she feels the need, she will do so as well. Lastly, the fund raiser is in the beginning stages, as I am sure many are aware. Please keep up with the specifics through Kristi Verde on Facebook. We will also update.
