Jill Cooper

Welcome to our CaringBridge website and thank you for visiting. We are using this site to provide family and friends an opportunity to volunteer help, donations and updates on Jill's recovery in one place.  
On Wednesday, May 17, our favorite friend and relative, Jill Cooper,  suffered a large stroke. Jill's mom, Pauline, drove immediately from Merced to be at the hospital for Jill. Gordon had been traveling abroad for work and raced home to be there for his wife and take care of their sons.  Jill  is currently at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose.  She is under the care of an excellent medical staff and surrounded by  loved ones.  
Jill has so many friends and family who care about her so it is difficult to reach out to everyone individually to provide updates. We thought this would be a great way for Gordon to have a central place to keep in touch and keep everyone up to date.  
Please share this website with people who know and love Jill. We know how strong and amazing Jill is but we also know how much help the Cooper family will need in the coming months.  
Jill is our fearless leader, our queen bee. Our lives have been better and more beautiful for knowing her and loving her. There is no question the massive amount of loved ones who are going to get Jill through this.  With that said, people keep asking how to help.  Right now, Gordon is working to devise a course of action and make sure they are doing everything they can for Jill. They need patience and time to work through all of this.  There will be a time soon to come and visit Jill.  In short order we will have schedules for visits and other things people can do to help.  We are all in this for the long run and no doubt we are ready to be the great friend she has been to us.
