At the end of 2017, Jessica found a lump while nursing Nick. Concerned she might have mastitis (blockage of a milk duct), she called her doctor and soon after, learned the lump was cancer. Thankfully, after several tests, she found the cancer is contained in a 5cm lump and one lymph node in her breast. This means, the rest of her body is cancer free! Jessica will be going through many rounds of chemotherapy in the hopes of shrinking the lump by half before having surgery to remove the cancer. Following the procedure, Jessica will undergo radiation.
