Jerry began this health journey during the summer of 2020.  After a series of tests, it was discovered that he had cancer in his liver.  His doctors and medical team determined the best course of action to be a liver transplant.  After almost a year of waiting,  and following a series of localized chemo and radiation treatments to help keep the cancer contained, we received news yesterday that there was a liver for him.  Today, doctors told us that the liver was a good match, and Jerry went into surgery around 5:30pm today.  


We are grateful for the amazing medical care at the University if MN, and most of all we are thankful and blessed by God's faithfulness and perfect timing and plan.  We welcome prayers and wait in anticipation for how God will continue to reveal His faithfulness and grace in this journey.
