On December 4th, 2020 Jenn went in for a routine checkup and was diagnosed with breast cancer. Throughout the month of December we learned much about breast cancer, the numerous types, and various treatments. After a myriad of tests were conducted Jenn was diagnosed with (HER2+) breast cancer. Although a very aggressive breast cancer, it has high favorability of responding to treatment and cure. On December 23 Jenn and Jeremy learned the plan of attack: six rounds of chemo through April, followed by surgery (spring), and ending with radiation (summer). Jenn started chemo on January 5.
