You know, if mom was writing this, she'd have some snappy, sarcastic comment about here we go again; I will never be as funny as my mother but I will certainly try my best. Humor seems to be all we have in times like these and if you know anything about this family, you know we thrive in it. I keep asking myself what my mother would want me to say. What she'd want me to tell her friends, her family, her loved ones and for some reason, all that comes to me is some lame joke that may involve an elephant gun or some sarcastic comment that would definitely be finished with an eye roll. Yet at the same time, I can't help but listen to a song she would sing to me as I would go to sleep. She would want all of you to know "you are her sunshine" and no matter what she is going to fight for us. All I can say to that is we WILL  fight for you, mom.
