Hi everyone. It's about time we did this because of all of the folks that care about Jeff and his battle with breast cancer. As many of you know, Jeff was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer a little under a year ago. A week and a half ago he was admitted to Upstate Medical Center because he was having difficulty breathing due to fluid building up in his lungs and chest cavity. Jeff was in ICU from Sunday 9/11 until Saturday 9/17. He is a fighter and they weren't going to keep him in the ICU for too long - this was very evident when we saw 'the real Fry' flirting with all of the nurses and telling them how beautiful they were. He is now on the oncology floor at Upstate and the goal is to get the breast cancer that has spread to his lungs stabilized. His lungs have been the only area where the cancer has continued to be a problem so his doctors are going to start a targeted therapy on his lungs this week. We will provide updates as things progress. The care he has been given at Upstate and the support he has received from all of you have been extraordinary. We cannot thank all of you enough! We will all continue to fight with Fry - so please say a prayer for Jeff and raise a glass to Friends, Family, and Fry!
