Jeff was severely injured Friday July 27, 2018, during an enduro race at the Blue Earth County Fair in Garden City, MN. He was going around a corner and the car rolled.  Jeff was trapped in the car.  Following extrication, he was transported to St Mary's hospital in Rochester by helicopter. Upon arrival at the ER, they did a series of tests and discovered that he had a fractured C-5 vertebrae in his neck. Surgery was performed Saturday morning to remove bone fragments and repair/stabilize the fracture.  During surgery, they discovered his C-7 was also fractured.  His spinal cord was intact, but also severely damaged and had been bleeding.  Jeff's mobility is a major challenge but he continues to improve each day.
