Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Jeannette is known to many as a caring , loving person who was for her children, first and foremost a mom.  She took care of many others as well!  She loves her family at Sand Lake and the beloved cabin along with her little dog Oliver, which is shown in this picture from last summer.

In December 2015, Jeannette had a stroke, leaving her unable to walk, use her right hand in any full capacity and able to talk fluently.  That said, she had amazing capacity to adapt.  She gave great joy to many at the Bloomington Presbyterian Home, kept up on the news and in touch through the iPad. And she has continued to talk with her daughter Kersten every day, providing much comfort, humor and love.  Rob, Joyce and Dora were able to frequently visit and participate in various events.   There have been trips to the cabin, the Galleria and the casino and many good memories.

Mom suffered her 5th stroke and has too many complex issues.  We are respecting her wishes and have found the wonderful place called the NC Littles hospice facility.  It is a cocoon of comfort and love and we are blessed that she ( and we) are able to receive such a high quality of care.
