Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop.  As Dan, Mom and myself were getting ready to travel to Kathy's for Thanksgiving my mom suffered a horrific accident and broke both her ankles in two places.  Mom did have surgery Wed night that was successful and she is now resting at RGH in room 6854 and hopefully going to rehab center this week.  The road to recovery will be along one and we are all hoping for a successful journey. No weight bearing for 5-6 weeks then she can start standing then hopefully walking again.  Please send prayers for a successful and uneventful recovery. My mom is very confused about what is going on and for those who want to help, the best thing you can do for my mom is visit her.
