Janice Newman

Janice was having the time of her life.  She loved dancing with the Energizers entertaining people in nursing homes and churches. We had lots of travel plans starting the year. We got  in 2 cruises and then found that Janice had stage 4 lung cancer metastasized to the bone.  Our plans were to visit so many  people we had been meaning to for a long while. Unfortunately road blocks came in bunches.. Out patient visits to the hospital turned out to be 3 day stays.    By 4-16-2017 we have given up 3 cruises and a trip to the Southeastern Conference Basketball Tournament    A fracture of the spine is protruding into the spinal cord causing great pain.  Radiation and chemo along with a wrap around body brace is hoping to mend the site to give comfort of movement. Side effects of the medicines cause one problem after another. Some days are good, some bad and some have both good and bad segments. We keep working to make adjustments so we can let all of you know how much you mean to us.
