Janice was not feeling well on Sat, July 11. She went to the dr on Monday and on Wed, July 15 she was diagnosed with Covid. She battled it at home on her own and thought maybe Sat, July 25 she was feeling the best she had since she came down with it. Sunday morning at midnight she got up to go to bed and did not feel well at all. She knew she needed help and called 911. They took her to Floyd Valley and that’s where they diagnosed her with Pulmonary Embolism(blood clots in both lungs). Katie was with her and they called me to tell me that they were taking her to Sioux City, Katie and I both said no we want Omaha. Dr told us she was not stable enough for that long ride to Omaha and that Sioux City is waiting. Got it! I hopped in the car, drove to Sioux City and waited outside the hospital to get updates on Momma and to make sure she was stable. I finally got to talk to her that afternoon and was at peace that she was at the best place and was gonna make it 💕
