We found out shortly after Wynn's memorial
service that Mom has Liver Cancer, and has most likely had it for the past year
and a half. She discovered it when she felt a lump in her right side. We have had a eventful journey the past few months with doctor's in
both Dallas and MD Anderson caring for her and working on a treatment plan.

 

She has been in the hospital in Dallas for the past 3 weeks,
where we discovered her blood sugar level was dropping very low in the morning
and we now have that under control.

 

Mom is home now and just started to take an oral chemotherapy
drug to help shrink the cancer. We pray that she tolerates this new medicine.

 

She is resting well and appreciates all the phone calls, texts
and cards she has been getting. She is not up for visitors just yet, but I will
certainly let you know when she is!

 

Continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers; I sure do, on
a daily basis. 

 

The boys, Dad and I are keeping watch over her and making sure she is
well taken care of.

 

I will try to update this site a few times a week to keep all
her friends informed. I know how much you love and care for her and she appreciates
that so much more than you know.
