Welcome to our Caring Bridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
I am starting this for my sister, Peggy, and brother-in-law, Jack, so that all caring family and friends can keep updated on Jack's new challenge and Peggy won't have to answer endless phone calls and emails.
As most everyone was aware Jack was given the wonderful news on February 1 that he was cancer free!!!  On February 3 he was given the devastating news that he had brain cancer.  He was in the ICU Neurology at Anschutz Hospital in Denver and told he was going to have brain surgery to take out the larger tumor, then sent home on February 8 and told his tumors would be treated by a Gamma Knife procedure.
Luckily Jack and Peggy met with the head of the Neurology department on February 13 and were told that they  will go ahead with the brain surgery on Friday, February 16 to remove the larger tumor, and then on Monday, February 19, he will be treated with the Gamma Knife to treat the 3 remaining tumors.  The Doctor has assured them this is a very successful process and only to expect a positive outcome.
We would like to request everyone keep Jack in your prayers and send him positive thoughts and stories that he would love to read on this sight.
