Jack and Leah's due date was February 26, 2017 but they had other plans. I had to cut an evening with girlfriends short because I wasn't feeling well. After calling my doctor and letting him know how I was feeling, he told me to come into the hospital just to get checked out. I quickly realized I was in labor at only 26 weeks. While the doctors tried to stop the contractions it was no use, the babies were going to be born tonight. The rest was a whirlwind. I was quickly prepped for a c-section while Adam called our parents. Jack was born on November 20th at 1:45am and Leah followed shortly after at 1:49am.



I quickly got to see them before they made their way out to Adam for a quick peek, then off to the NICU where they are being cared for until they're strong and developed enough to come home. The doctors have prepared us for the long road we will have until Jack and Leah are able to come home with us.
