Upon arriving home from a great symposium in Rhode Island, even though Howard did announce his retirement, he was diagnosed with Oropharynx cancer. Throat cancer. He has been to multiple doctors in the past few weeks formulating his care plan for treatment. He is strong willed and positive the treatment will cure the cancer. We know folks will want to know how he is doing and this is the best way to keep his caring friends and family updated.
