Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Jason Hosier is 28 year old Dubuque, Iowa native. He is a son, a brother, a friend and all around good person.

Unfortunately over Labor Day weekend he had an accident and suffered a life altering event. Jason was taken by ambulance to Iowa City, University of Iowa Hospital where he had emergency surgery to fix a broken vertebrae(C5) in his neck and a transected spinal cord. This is a very serious injury and at this time the full extent of his injuries are unknown. He and his family will have a long road to recovery and are taking things day to day.

Jason is a strong guy and always has a great attitude about life. He loves to watch and cheer on the Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Dallas Mavericks and watching sports in general. It’s not hard to describe what kind of person Jason is. He is an amazing young-man who is out-going and adventurous and always has a smile on his face with positive attitude. He likes to have fun and be with friends and family.

Right now Jason is facing a very difficult and long rehab. He needs all the positivity and hope we can give him along with love and support as he takes on this next chapter in his life.
