Steve Caliendo Honoring Steve Caliendo

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the passing of Steve Caliendo on Saturday, January 7th.  His family and loving wife Mia surrounded him.

Over his fourteen-year journey with Apple, he has been a significant part of so many people's lives.  Someone shared, "he was always the change he wanted to see in the world."

Steve was incredibly impassioned about Apple; a true fan boy.  He had an inspirational way with his words that brought you in and made you a believer. The best part of working with Steve was he never tried to replicate himself but rather connect your passions to the brand. He was a thoughtful leader who unwaveringly served his team and Apple.  His mantra “Represent the brand.  Make lives better.  Have fun doing it.”

Steve was equally passionate about making the most of life and his interests.  Baseball was one of those passions; so much so, he and his brother Damon had visited every Major League Baseball Park in the US.  

However, there was no greater passion than that of his love for his wife Mia. It was very special and remarkable to watch them together.

He was a loving husband, an adoring son and an incredible friend. There are so many stories and memories to be shared. It’s with those memories, a wonderful treasure to always hold in your heart and in his memory.  

Say not in grief: "He is no more, but live in the thankfulness that he was."
