I am using this as a way to keep my wonderful friends and family informed and updated on what I'm going through.
I began the year experiencing a few symptoms that I didn't think were serious and kind of dismissed as nothing to be too concerned about.  As the months progressed, so did the symptoms.  I finally gave in and went to the doctor who then referred me for an ultrasound.  A large mass was discovered in my abdomen.  From that point I was sent for a CT scan and then on to the Goshen Cancer Center.  On 5/16/18 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. 

From that point things have been a whirlwind of appointments, counseling, tests, information, etc. The doctors, nurses and everyone we have been in contact with at the Goshen Cancer Center have been wonderful and very caring.

I am scheduled for surgery on Tuesday 5/29/18.  This is going to be an aggressive surgery and I will be hospitalized for at least 2 weeks afterwards and require 4 months of chemo. 

I have already received so many prayers, so much love, and so much support!!!  I appreciate it so much, Thank you!
