In late November 2020, we were tucking Hazel into bed and noticed two enlarged lymph nodes under her right arm. Since then she has had multiple tests to figure out what was causing them, but her doctors were not worried because she had no other symptoms. On Monday January 18th, she had them surgically removed. Later that evening we received the devastating news: Hazel has B-cell Lymphoma. (Official diagnosis is B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.) Our world has been turned upside down, and we are completely heartbroken.
We know our girl is going to be a fighter, and she is just so incredibly loved. We will never stop dreaming with her. Thank you for supporting us during this time.
