It started when Hayes jumped down a half
A flight of stairs while playing with his brothers and kept mentioning he had pain. After about a month of seeing various pediatricians and specialists, we ended up at the hospital on April 3rd with a possible prognosis of trauma to the spine. Hayes had a 5-hour procedure with three hours in an MRI tube. The results of all the tests were quite different than we had anticipated. Hayes was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer and it is throughout his body. We are devastated, but not defeated, because we serve a big God who is able to do anything and everything and that includes miraculously healing Hayes. We are asking for all our friends and family to join us in praying for compete healing and recovery for Hayes, plus supernatural peace and grace for a little 3-1/2 year old who wonders what all this about. Hayes was excited to be able to go home for the first time on Easter Sunday, but we ended up back at the ER Wednesday night as he wasn’t eating or drinking and are still there. 

 We walk by faith and not by sight, and fully trust in God to see us through every second of this journey. Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase. (Martin Luther King, Jr.) We are like the woman who touched the hem of Jesus' garment...and we're not letting go!
