Welcome! You have been invited to be a part of Madeline's Story.

 
We have all been through hardships over the years and WE ARE STRONG, but in one form or another, we all had some support to help us get through our struggles. I think WLP does a GREAT job at being a good support system. In the words of Jerry, "We are family." 

Many of you already know that Madeline's husband, David, has gone through many struggles, but he keeps fighting back! He is due for a major surgery and a second chance at life. The next couple of weeks will be busy with many doctor appointments to be able to proceed ahead. Please keep them in your prayers so everything goes well and David can have that second chance in life that he deserves.

With the many visits to hospitals, doctors and pharmacies, one can wonder, what time do you have to even cook a meal? Not to mention all the basic errands YOU have to do, especially as the main caretaker. I can't imagine even having time for myself.

I wanted to open this invitation to help one of our own with something basic, like a cooked dinner.

You can sign up and bring the meals here to work, and if she is not here, Raquel and I will be happy to drop it off at her house. Please keep in mind when preparing meals that both Madeline and David have diabetes.

If you would like to help in another way, gift cards to Jewel or Walgreens would also be appreciated.
